Our design for a public space in Nantou Ancient City in Shenzhen is now complete. The elements showcase a proposal for a new design code in place of the existing small house policy in hong Kong.

PROJECT UPDATE // The Village Code.

"The Village Code" Exhibition at this years Shenzhen Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism has been completed. The exhibition presents an installation short films from a research studio at HKU examining Hong Kong urban villages.

EXHIBITION // Village in the City.

Casting begins in Shenzhen Nantou Old Town 深圳南头古城 for the UABB public space collaboration. We are creating 16 large blocks showcasing an alternative design code for Hong Kong's small house policy. We have recently completed some concrete test casts for our upcoming UABB Shenzhen Biennale 'Village in The City' public space collaboration. The casting took place at a concrete factory in Hunan Province.

RESEARCH // HKU - Investigating Illegal Structures in Hong Kong.
